Jose Enrique vented his anger towards Liverpool owners FSG on Instagram after hearing that Qatari investors could make a bid for Manchester United pretty soon.
The former Liverpool left-back asked why FSG aren’t going down this road and ‘selling everything’.
For a club the size of Liverpool or Manchester United to be up for sale isn’t common, for the duo to be up at the same time is even more remarkable.

But heading into the 2023 summer transfer window, that is the case, with both sets of fans hoping that serious change is made upstairs so they can attack the forthcoming window in order to move forward.
Whilst Man United will feel they are on the upward trajectory under Erik ten Hag, their bitter rivals are on the slide, but they are still in the same boat in the sense that they need investment in order to either take their squads to the next level or refresh it.
The most ideal situation is for FSG and The Glazers to sell up, and when Liverpool-mad pundit Enrique heard of the Manchester United-Qatari claims, he was sure to express his feelings towards John W Henry and Co.
WHO NEEDS INVESTMENT MORE?
Whilst Liverpool have been the most successful in recent times, they are probably the ones in need of more investment.
The simple reason being is that their squad has become stale and a refresh is needed throughout.
Added to that, at Old Trafford, whilst fans want the Glazers gone, ten Hag has the club moving forward again, as well as a serious chance of a Champions League finish.
The same can’t be said for those on Merseyside who, as things stand, are sitting tenth in the Premier League table and heading down a road where they don’t even secure Europe for next season.
