Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani has taken to social media to share an update about the imminent appointment of a new manager at the club.

When replying to a fan, Radrizzani posted on Tuesday evening that he hoped to have news to share either that evening or on Wednesday morning.

Well, as we all know, no news came on Tuesday evening, so we may just be hours away from Leeds’ next manager being announced.

This statement has sent the rumour mill into overdrive and has raised the expectations of Leeds fans who are eagerly waiting to see who their new manager will be.

The Whites have been without a manager since the sacking of Jesse Marsch earlier this week. The club’s search for a new gaffer has been the talk of the town, with every journalist, pundit and media outlet speculating who will be the next man to step into the Elland Road dugout.

Leeds certainly need to get this appointment right. The club’s current position in the Premier League table is far from ideal, and a new manager needs to bring in a fresh approach and help steer the club to safety as they battle against relegation to the Championship.

Given the situation that Leeds are under, the pressure will be on the new manager from the moment they step into the role, but the hope is that they will be able to turn things around and help the club remain in the Premier League.

Radrizzani has been bold here with this suggestion that a new manager will be announced in the coming hours, but, as we all ought to know by now, plans can change very quickly.

Keep an eye out for any news coming out of Leeds this morning as there could be an announcement in the offing.
