Leeds United want to appoint Real Madrid Castilla manager Raul as their new head coach following the sacking of Jesse Marsch, according to AS.
Raul responds to Leeds United offer
The Spanish publication has claimed that Leeds have made contact with Real Madrid legend Raul over taking over the first team.
The Premier League club are on the hunt for a new manager following the sacking of Marsch.
The American was dismissed from his role yesterday.
Leeds have struggled all season and are in real danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
According to AS, Leeds have made an offer to Raul to take charge of the first team.

The Premier League club want to appoint the 45-year-old ‘at all costs’, but the former Madrid and Spain international striker has rejected Leeds.
Raul reportedly does not want to leave Real Madrid Castilla now and does not want to make a wrong move in his managerial career.
Strange move from Leeds
In our view, it is really strange of Leeds United to approach Raul over becoming their manager now.
Now, we know Raul’s status as a footballing legend.
He is one of the greatest players to have ever played for Real Madrid and Spain.
The 45-year-old won La Liga six times and the UEFA Champions League on three occasions with Madrid as a player.
However, Raul is only just starting his managerial career and has not been in charge of a senior club side yet.
