Sergej Milinkovic-Savic wants to join Arsenal

The Italian publication has claimed that Arsenal wanted to sign Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio in the summer of 2022 and remain keen on bringing him to the Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2023.

The 27-year-old Serbia international wants to leave Lazio at the end of season and is ready to make the switch to Arsenal.

The report has claimed that Milinkovic-Savic did not fancy a transfer to Arsenal last summer, but the way the Gunners have done so far this season has completely changed his mind.

Mikel Arteta’s side are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment and could end up winning the title this season.

Good signing for the Gunners?

In our view, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic would be a good signing for Arsenal, who would be a better team with the Lazio and Serbia international midfielder in it.

Yes, Arsenal signed Jorginho in the January transfer window, but if the Gunners want to consistently win Premier League titles and compete in the UEFA Champions League, then they need more quality players.

Milinkovic-Savic is one of the best midfielders in Serie A and is of the right age to take the next step in his career and make an immediate impact at Arsenal.

We believe that the £96,000-a-week (SalarySport) player would make Arsenal better in the middle of the park.
