Clinton Morrison raved about Leeds United forward Wilfried Gnonto on BBC Radio 5 Live Sport (2:37pm, February 5, 2023) while watching him in action against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The former Crystal Palace forward was hugely impressed by Gnonto, who started for Leeds against fellow relegation candidates Nottingham Forest.
The BBC Sport pundit said that the 19-year-old Italy international forward is “exciting” and has been very good for Leeds so far this season.
The teenager joined Leeds from Zurich in the summer of 2022 for £3.8 million (The Daily Mail).

Morrison said about Gnonto in the 37th minute of the match: “To be fair, Gnonto has probably been Leeds’s best player.
“He has been causing Williams a lot of problems down this left-hand side. He is a young player, he is so exciting. I have seen a lot of him this season, he has been really good for Leeds.”

Impressive
In our view, Wilfried Gnonto is one of the best young players in the Premier League and has already established himself as a key figure for Leeds United.
That Leeds head coach Jesse Marsch decided to start the teenager in a big game such as today shows how much the American boss trusts him.
Gnonto is quick and has skills.
The forward gets past people and takes up great positions on the pitch.
And he is only 19.
Can you imagine how good Gnonto will be when he is 23 or 24?
The Italian forward could be frightening.
