Oleksandr Zinchenko has told Mohamed Elneny on his Instagram story to ‘come back stronger, brother’ after Arsenal confirmed on Tuesday that he will be out of action for a ‘sustained period of time’.
The Egypt international’s recent knee injury, which was sustained in training according to the club, has forced the north London club to push for a much-needed midfielder before the January transfer window slams shut, with Jorginho expected to arrive from Chelsea.
Whilst Arsenal fans were hoping for Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, it seems as though Jorginho will be the one to provide that depth in the middle of the park instead.

One thing that can’t be argued is that Jorginho is an upgrade on the now-injured Elneny, as well as the struggling Albert Sambi Lokonga.
So, that’s a big positive for Arsenal’s hopes of winning the Premier League title this season, with Paul Merson backing the Jorginho deal.
Nonetheless, when Arsenal confirmed Elneny’s injury today, Zinchenko reacted to that news with the following message: “Come back stronger, brother.”
JORGINHO HAS A PROVEN RECORD
This is a very young Arsenal side that is punching above its current weight in terms of being top of the tree in English football.
Someone like Jorginho will provide that much-needed know-how, experience and calmness. But could the Elneny injury be a blessing in disguise?
The reason being, if the Egypt star wasn’t injured, then it would have been interesting to see just how far the club would have pushed for that midfielder this month.
