Liverpool are interested in Conor Gallagher as Jurgen Klopp and co continue to run the rule over potential midfield additions.
That’s according to the Daily Mail, who claim that Gallagher is one player Liverpool like heading into deadline day.
That doesn’t mean Liverpool will make a move for Gallagher today, but he is a name of interest on the Liverpool wish list.
Jude Bellingham, Matheus Nunes and Moises Caicedo are also mentioned, as they have been for many months at this point.
Liverpool won’t be signing any of them today but there is at least a window of opportunity with Gallagher.
Chelsea looks set to splash the cash on Enzo Fernandez and that may leave Gallagher surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool may not have a huge budget right now but they are seemingly watching developments around Gallagher closely.

Liverpool could see Everton sign Conor Gallagher
You can understand why Liverpool might fancy Gallagher.
The 22-year-old has bags of energy in the middle of the park and has proven himself as a goalscoring midfielder with Crystal Palace.
Jurgen Klopp has even publicly praised Gallagher before, calling him ‘really, really good’ back in September 2021.
Chelsea may want to splash out on Fernandez but Liverpool would seemingly love to take Gallagher to Anfield if the opportunity arises.
Gallagher may well end up on Merseyside on deadline day – but maybe not with Liverpool.
The Daily Mail report that Everton have launched a huge £45million bid to sign Gallagher before the transfer deadline.
Gallagher doesn’t seem all that interested in the Toffees but we have seen bigger and more shocking U-turns on deadline day before.
Newcastle United appear to be keen on Gallagher too, but surely a move to Liverpool will be right up his street if an offer materialises.
This may be one to keep an eye on in the summer if Gallagher is still at Chelsea by then, with deadline day promising to be a huge one for the midfielder.
