Ivan Fresneda could still be sold on deadline day with Arsenal believed to be interested in the Real Valladolid star.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims that Real Valladolid are ‘convinced’ to keep Fresneda at least until the summer.
However, Romano suggests ‘there could be some change in the final hours’, as some clubs are still trying to strike a deal for Fresneda.
The interested clubs are seemingly trying to tee up a summer deal now, making sure they secure Fresneda ahead of a major rush in the summer.
That would at least allow Valladolid to keep Fresneda settled in Spain for the coming months, continuing to develop and contribute with the La Liga side.
Arsenal have shown a major interest in Fresneda and may well be one of the clubs trying to thrash out a late agreement.

Arsenal surely pushing for Ivan Fresneda
The Gunners have been impressed with Fresneda and seemed to be right in the mix to sign him last week.
The Athletic reported that Valladolid wonderkid Fresneda was deciding between a joining Arsenal or Borussia Dortmund with both clubs pushing to sign him.
£13million offers were allegedly on the table from both clubs but the expectation in recent days has been that Fresneda will stay put for now.
An exciting right back at just 18, Fresneda is one for the future and Arsenal don’t necessarily need him right now.
The Gunners have been using Ben White at right back this season but adding a more naturally forward-thinking option for the future in Fresneda could be ideal.
Dortmund will surely have an interest too but whilst all the focus is on Arsenal signing a midfielder, Edu could tee up the Gunners’ first summer signing by negotiating a deal for Fresneda today.
