Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United are interested in signing winger Jack Harrison from Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United as a potential replacement for Allan Saint-Maximin, according to 90min.
The report has claimed that AC Milan and clubs in the Middle-East want to sign French winger Saint-Maximin, described as “a brilliant player” by former Newcastle loanee Jetro Willems in The Chronicle in July 2022.
Newcastle are willing to listen to offers for the 25-year-old, who himself is open to leaving St. James’ Park.
According to 90min, Newcastle ‘would like to have an immediate replacement lined up in order to sanction a sale’.
The report has added that ‘Leeds United’s Jack Harrison is on their radar, but such a quick turnaround is unlikely prior to Tuesday’s transfer deadline’.
Could Newcastle sign Jack Harrison from Leeds?
In our view, Newcastle United are unlikely to be able to sign Jack Harrison from Leeds United now.
It is simply too late.

Leeds will have to find a suitable replacement for the £60,000-a-week (SalarySport) winger, who is also an important player for the West Yorkshire club.
Why would Leeds sell him now when they are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season?
Yes, we know that money talks, but are Newcastle really going to offer crazy money, like £50 million or £60 million for Harrison?
We do not think so.
