Graham Potter’s Chelsea are open to selling Jorginho to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the final hours of the January transfer window, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.
Romano has claimed that Arsenal have approached London and Premier League rivals Chelsea to sign midfielder Jorginho.
And the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are willing to sell the £110,000-a-week (SalarySport) Italy international midfielder to the Gunners, according to the Italian journalist.
Arsenal are looking at the 31-year-old midfielder as a potential alternative to Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo.
Romano has added that Chelsea will ask for a decent transfer fee from Arsenal for the former Napoli star.
Chelsea willing to sell Jorginho to Arsenal

Wow!
In our view, Jorginho would be a brilliant signing for Arsenal, at least for the short term.
The Italian is one of the best and most experienced midfielders around, and the Chelsea star would be able to make an immediate impact at Arsenal.
The Gunners are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, and Jorginho would be able to help the North London club in that quest.
The 31-year-old is a winner.
Jorginho has won the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League with Chelsea, and won the Euro 2020 finals with Italy.
Interestingly, this is not the first time in recent years that Jorginho has been linked with Arsenal.
Sky Sports reported in October 2020 that Arsenal wanted to sign the Italian from Chelsea.
The Gunners eventually brought in Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid.
