Tottenham winger Lucas Moura is a man in demand with Crystal Palace, Everton and Southampton all keen – but he wants huge money.

That’s according to The Sun, who claim that Tottenham may be willing to let Moura leave right now.

Antonio Conte has already suggested that Moura will be leaving when his contract expires this summer – though did indicate that it was the club’s decision to let him go.

It’s suggested that Premier League rivals Palace, Everton and Southampton all fancy taking Moura before the transfer deadline this week.

Yet Moura is understood to be seeking around £150,000-a-week in wages, which has left interested clubs feeling a little ‘wary’.

Tottenham have just brought in a new winger with Arnaut Danjuma arriving on loan from Villarreal.

Everton were hijacked for that deal but could turn to Moura as their top target as they seek attacking reinforcements.

Tottenham attacker Lucas Moura is a big risk for any Premier League club

Moura may be appealing as big name and a somewhat proven attacker in the Premier League.

Yet the fact is that Moura hasn’t started a single Premier League game this season.

Tendonitis has been a problem for Moura this term, meaning he has played just 93 minutes of league action.

Moura also hasn’t played a single minute since the Premier League returned from the World Cup break.

Now 30, it’s reasonable to suggest that Moura’s injury problems aren’t going to get any better in the coming years.

Paying £150,000-a-week after such a frustrating campaign would be a massive gamble and ultimately not what clubs like Everton, Palace and Southampton need.

A move to Brazil, the Middle East or the United States may make sense for Moura at this stage in his career and we just can’t see a Premier League club paying up for him in the coming days.
