The West Yorkshire club will bring the USA international midfielder to Elland Road on a loan deal in the final days of the January transfer window, with the option to make it permanent for £30 million in the summer of 2023.

It must be a relief for Leeds that they have been able to get the deal done despite late interest from Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest and Fulham.
Leeds are aiming to avoid the dreaded drop to the Championship at the end of the season, and McKennie will enhance their chances of doing just that.
