Speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth has claimed that Tottenham’s interest in Alessandro Bastoni is closely tied to the futures of manager Antonio Conte and Sporting Director Fabio Paratici.
It has been widely reported that Conte will be leaving Spurs at the end of the season. In addition, Paratici, who joined Tottenham from Juventus in June 2021, is currently staring at a potential ban due to past issues at the Italian club that have recently come to light.

“Bastoni is another name that just won’t go away, but he seems to be linked very closely to Paratici and Antonio Conte, and some of the summer moves are dependent on what the managerial situation and the Director of Football situation come the summer,” Sheth said.
