Death In Paradise has become a welcome winter treat since it first arrived on our screens in 2011, although the residents of Saint Marie must surely be getting sick and tired of having the worst murder rates in the Caribbean by now.

This week’s murder mystery begins at a time of joy as Naomi returns to Saint Barnabas, the island where she grew up, as she has been invited to attend the wedding of her best friend, Monique.
However, the happy occasion quickly turns sour when one of the guests is fatally stabbed and Naomi is left with little choice but to call in the team to investigate.
Meanwhile, with yet another distraction placed in front of him, Marlon starts to realise that passing his sergeant exams may be a little trickier than he’d hoped.

The actress has appeared on our screens since she made her debut in the 2009 BBC series Jinx which has been followed by roles in Which Is Witch, The Sparticle Mystery, Rocket’s Island and Doctor Who.
Gamba Cole as Ty Edgars
Gamba Cole plays Ty Edgars, the groom in episode 4.
The Bristol-born actor has 14 roles to his name with notable appearances in Guerrilla, Lucky Man, Prime Video’s Hanna, A Discovery Of Witches and BBC comedy series, The Outlaws.
Nicola Alexis as Odette Hays
Nicola Alexis has been a regular on our screens since making her debut in 1999.
The actress, who plays mother of the bride, Odette, is best known for her role as PC Ruby Buxton in The Bill while she’s also appeared in Desperados, The Commander, Fleabag, The Girl Before, DI Ray and Casualty.
Curtis Walker as Rex Hays
This week’s unfortunate murder victim is Rex Hays, Odette’s estranged husband.
Taking on the role is London-born actor and comedian Curtis Walker who starred in the likes of Youngers, In The Long Run and Kerching!, as well as the films On The Other Foot, Rocks, Mutant Chronicles and Bullet Boy.
Patrice Naiambana as Sammy Debraun
It’s rare we get to see police officers from other islands but that is what Patrice Naiambana’s character Sammy Debraun brings in episode 4.
