Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has said that Juventus winger Federico Chiesa would be open to a switch to Liverpool.
Chiesa open to Liverpool transfer
After Juve were slapped with a 15-point deduction, a number of their players started to get linked with moves away from the club, including the Italian sensation, who was recently speculated with potentially joining Arsenal by Calciomercato.
But now, it seems Chiesa would be willing to play for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool in the 2022/2023 season.
The report has also mentioned that the Euro 2020 champion, hailed as a ‘fantastic footballer’ by Rio Ferdinand (via Transfermarketweb) could be brought in as a replacement for Mohamed Salah on the right wing.

Now, Gianluca Di Marzio has given his thoughts on Federico Chiesa potentially becoming a Liverpool player.
“But I think every player would like to play under Jurgen Klopp”, he initially said, when discussing that the player would be open to a switch.
Di Marzio continued, “I actually expect them to make a number of fury purchases, to ‘attack’ the summer transfer window. They want to get a lot of new players and start a new era in that way, to be champions in the Premier League again. This year they are not having a positive season.”
“I think it depends on the project, but for him it could be a perfect transfer”, he told SoccerNews.nl.
Chiesa would be a brilliant addition to the club
Contrary to Gianluca Di Marzio’s suggestion, Federico Chiesa would perhaps be at his best on the left-wing for Liverpool, instead of on the flank occupied by Mohamed Salah.
The £54,000-a-week ace could bring bags of pace and trickery to Jurgen Klopp’s men, alongside tons of end product, which is sometimes not Luis Diaz’s strongest suit.
If the Reds aspire to be at the top again, signing players like Chiesa is step one.
