CBS journalist James Benge has told the House of Champions podcast that Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney could be headed for the exit door in the summer.
Kieran Tierney could be set for Arsenal summer exit
Since joining the Gunners in 2019, the £110,000-a-week star has become a fan favourite at the Emirates Stadium.
In fact, there was a time when several of the club’s fanbase believe he was the side’s most consistent player.
However, ever since the arrival of Oleksandr Zinchenko, Kieran Tierney has had no choice but to contemplate an exit from Arsenal next summer.
With Mikel Arteta showing a clear preference for the former due to his mastery of the inverted left-back role has meant the Scottish left-back has started a mere 4 Premier League games this season.

And according to James Benge, the out-of-favour star, once described as a warrior by Ashley Cole, who raved about him (as relayed by the Metro) could now bid farewell to the Premier League leaders.
“There’s a growing expectation at Arsenal right now that Kieran Tierney could move in the summer. I don’t think Arsenal would push him out the exit door.”
“But now that he’s not a guaranteed starter, I think that if the right offer came in, all parties are thinking this is something that might happen, not guaranteed.”
Tierney should push for Gunners departure
Yes, Mikel Arteta and Co. could build a dynasty if they continue their ascent, which would make many wonder why demanding a departure is the logical career option for the ex-Celtic defender.
However, with Oleksandr Zinchenko growing in status as both a player and a leader at Arsenal, it may be time for Kieran Tierney to look for an exit in the summer.
The 25-year-old is simply far too accomplished and well-rounded in his role to be sitting on the bench for much longer.
Signing for a club where he’s guaranteed to be first-choice left-back should be the next step in the versatile operator’s career.
