*WARNING: Spoilers ahead for BMF season 2, episode 3*

Following its hugely well-received first season, BMF is back on Starz for its highly anticipated second installment.

The new season picks up the story of Demetrius ‘Big Meech’ Flenory and his brother Terry as they continue to lay the foundations of what will become the Black Mafia Family, one of the most notorious African American crime organizations in US history.

However, after episodes 1 and 2 of BMF season 2 reintroduced fans to the show’s cast of characters, tension has continued to rise between the brothers, which has left viewers waiting eagerly for episode 3 – but what do we know about the upcoming episode?

BMF season 2 episode 3 recap

Titled Devil’s Night, episode 3 of BMF season 2 arrived on Starz on Friday, January 20, 2023.

The episode was filled with dramatic twists and turns as tensions rose across Detroit.

While Terry hoped his limp business would be far less dangerous than the drugs trade, that belief was thrown out of the window as he and his younger sister Nicole were involved in a dangerous accident after their car’s tires had been tampered with.

Terry confronted a competitor of his named Cletus ‘Cleet’ Barber who proved that the car-ride business is just as ruthless as the life of a gangster. But he’ll be having second thoughts of messing with Terry again after he and Big Meech sent him a fierce warning.

Back in Meech’s world in Detroit’s criminal underworld, matters were just as tough as BMF’s supply of product was drying up, forcing him to go to K9 for help.

K9 wanted a fellow dealer named Travis capturing and bringing to him. However, Meech and B-Mickie were forced to kill the target after he opened fire on them, resulting in K9 calling off their deal.

Episode 3 ended on a jaw-dropping note as Lamar Silas, who had left hospital earlier in the season, finally tracked Meech down and shot him.

Hellbent on arresting Meech, Detective Bryant almost prevented him from getting to the hospital but was eventually forced to back down by his partner, Detective Jin.

As Meech was rushed to the hospital, Terry was left feeling guilty about his brother and leaving him to run his criminal business alone.
