Tottenham and Roma are now ‘in broad agreement’ that any deal for Zaniolo should cost around €30 million (£26.38 million).
The Italian club are open to letting the 23-year-old join Spurs on a loan deal, but they want an obligatory purchase clause at the end of it.

However, Spurs want to activate it only if they qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season.
If Tottenham do not, then the Premier League club want the clause to be optional.
Roma are not agreeing to it .
