Arsenal want Ivan Fresneda and they have already held talks with his agent at London Colney ahead of a potential deal.
That’s according to Goal, who claim that Fresneda’s agent Luis Bardaji has visited Arsenal’s training ground in the last week.
Bardaji has been in England to talk to other clubs but a visit to the training ground sounds very promising for Arsenal.
It’s added that Arsenal are now in direct talks with Real Valladolid over a deal to sign right back Fresneda.
Valladolid faced Atletico Madrid on Saturday night and fell to a 3-0 defeat with Diego Simeone’s men rampant in the first half an hour.
Fresneda was left on the bench due to talks over a move to Arsenal but did come on in a difficult night for Valladolid.

Arsenal could now sign a gem in Ivan Fresneda
There are a couple of ideas here for Arsenal.
They could sign Fresneda as additional right back cover and allow Cedric to leave the club for Premier League rivals Fulham.
Alternatively, Arsenal could sign Fresneda but then loan him back to Valladolid, continuing his development in Spain before heading to North London in the summer.
Either way, Arsenal appear to be closing in on another signing after landing Leandro Trossard.
Fresneda, 18, is a former Real Madrid talent who has been making a real name for himself with Valladolid this season.
An exciting right back with a huge future ahead of him, Fresneda already has bags of technical ability.
The hope is that he can become a quality defender down the line with more physical growth to come.
Other Premier League clubs have been chasing Fresneda, with Newcastle United and even Tottenham Hotspur linked with the Spaniard in case they miss out on Pedro Porro.
Yet Arsenal now appear to be in the box seat and with a deal for Spezia defender Jakub Kiwior also in the works, the Gunners are getting some exciting business done after missing out on Mykhailo Mudryk.
