Brighton and Hove Albion manager Roberto De Zerbi has suggested in his press conference today that Leandro Trossard is on the verge of moving to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the January transfer window.

De Zerbi has said that the situation with Trossard has been tough, saying that the Arsenal target wanted to leave Brighton this month.

The Brighton boss has added that his side can play well without the winger.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Trossard will undergo a medical at Arsenal today after all three parties came to an agreement over a deal.

CBS Sports have reported that Arsenal will reportedly pay Premier League rivals Brighton an initial transfer fee of £21 million for the Belgium international.

The Daily Mail have reported that De Zerbi and Trossard had a fallout, which led to the winger training on his own.

Transfer happening

In our view, it is only a matter of time before Leandro Trossard completes hie move to Arsenal.

It seems that only passing the medical is all that is left to do in this particular transfer deal.

Trossard is at the top of his game now, and he would be able to make an immediate impact at Arsenal and hit the ground running at the Emirates Stadium.
