Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of signing Pedro Porro have been boosted with Sporting lining up Galatasaray star Sacha Boey as a replacement.
That’s according to Record, who claim that Porro is ‘on the way out’ amid continued talks over a move to Tottenham.
It’s stated that Sporting have started lining up possible replacements with Galatasaray ace Boey and Pol Lirola – currently on loan at Elche from Marseille – wanted.
Boey is believed to be on Liverpool’s radar with Fanatik reporting earlier this season that Liverpool have been scouting him.
Sporting now seemingly believe that they will be able to sign Boey, reinvesting what should be a huge Porro fee into the Frenchman.
Lirola’s time at Elche hasn’t gone to plan and Sporting may look for Marseille to recall him and send him to Portugal.

Tottenham’s Pedro Porro hopes boosted
The claim that Porro is ‘on the way out’ will leave Tottenham fans very excited.
Porro appears to have become Tottenham’s top target for their right wing back spot over recent weeks and even months.
The Spaniard has been an outstanding attacking threat for Sporting, racking up 10 assists and two goals in 23 games this season.
90Min claim that Tottenham are unwilling to pay Porro’s €45million (£40million) release clause, meaning talks with Sporting have been difficult.
That report notes that Tottenham are willing to pay £40million in instalments and some inside Sporting think this is an acceptable proposal.
Add that to these new claims in Portugal suggesting that Sporting are now moving for a replacement, and Tottenham may well be closing in.
The former Manchester City talent has shown the ability on the ball and the end product to provide what no other Tottenham right wing back has this season.
Tottenham may need to sell Emerson Royal or loan out Djed Spence, but there are positive noises about a deal for Porro right now.
