Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal plan to make a bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window with the money they were going to spend on Mykhailo Mudryk before the winger joined Graham Potter’s Chelsea, according to CMW.
Arsenal plan bid for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic
The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Arsenal are planning to offer €80 million (£71 million) to Juventus to bring striker Vlahovic to the Emirates Stadium this month.
Arsenal wanted to sign Mudryk and had three bids for the winger rejected before the 22-year-old Ukraine international moved to London and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
Could a January transfer happen?
In our view, Arsenal could struggle to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in the January transfer window.

Juventus are doing well in Serie A at the moment and are aiming to finish in the top four.
Now, Vlahovic has not exactly been great for Juve this campaign, but the £215,000-a-week (SalarySport) Serbia international is one of the best strikers around.
The 22-year-old has scored six goal and given one assist in 10 Serie A matches for Juventus so far this season.
We think that Arsenal are more likely to be able to get the striker in the summer of 2023 than in the January transfer window.
However, you just never know.
