Newcastle United goalkeeper Loris Karius has been offered to AC Milan in the Januay transfer window, according to CMW.

Newcastle goalkeeper Loris Karius offered to AC Milan

The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that former Liverpool goalkeeper Karius is leaving Premier League club Newcastle this month.

And the 29-year-old has reportedly been offered to last season’s Serie A winners AC Milan.

The goalkeeper is on the books of Newcastle at the moment.

Newcastle’s official website still has Karius as one of their players.

The goalkeeper joined Newcastle as a free agent in September 2023 and is under contract at the Magpies until January 2023.

Football Insider have reported that Newcastle must make a decision on the future of goalkeeper Karius by next week due to a clause in his contract.

January exit likely?

In our view, it is very likely that Loris Karius will leave Newcastle United in the January transfer window.

Nick Pope is the clear first-choice goalkeeper at Newcastle at the moment.

And now Martin Dubravka is back from his loan spell at Manchester United.

So, we do not think that Newcastle manager Eddie Howe will have all three of them in his squad.

The Magpies could decide to keep Dubravka and do extend the contract of Dubravka, described as “fantastic” by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in Metro in August 2018.
