Wolverhampton Wanderers want to sign Craig Dawson and there is a belief that he is keen to leave West Ham United this month.
That’s according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook, who claims that Wolves are actively pursuing a deal for Dawson.
Some will remember that Wolves were trying to sign Dawson at the end of the summer transfer window.
Dawson was eyed as a replacement for Willy Boly’s veteran presence following his move to Nottingham Forest.
No move materialised though as West Ham kept hold of Dawson with David Moyes needing him for defensive depth.
Wolves haven’t backed away though and now want to sign Dawson again, with the experienced centre back keen on a move away from the London Stadium.

Wolves need Craig Dawson’s experience at the back
Wolves let Boly leave for a move to Nottingham Forest over the summer and placed their faith in two fairly young defenders.
Nathan Collins and Max Kilman have been the first-choice centre back pairing for Wolves at 21 and 25 respectively.
New boss Julen Lopetegui seemingly wants not one but two experience defenders to provide some know-how.
Dawson is one of them with Atletico Madrid defender Felipe also being targeted by Wolves.
It remains to be seen whether Wolves go for both Dawson and Felipe or just one of them, but it’s clear that experience is the key requirement.
Dawson, 32, has now racked up more than 200 Premier League appearances across spells with West Brom, Watford and now West Ham.
Dawson has started eight Premier League games this season and seemingly believes that it’s time to move on from East London.
West Ham have already explored a potential move for Amiens defender Formose Mendy, with David Moyes and co seemingly preparing for Dawson to move on this month.
Wolves will be at the front of the queue for his signature, and with Dawson out of contract in the summer, he surely won’t be too expensive.
