Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) are looking into potentially investing in Tottenham Hotspur and have held a meeting with club chairman Daniel Levy, but the owners of Paris Saint-Germain have had no such talks with Liverpool, who have been put up for sale by Fenway Sports Group (FSG).

That’s according to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs on Twitter.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that QSI want to invest in various clubs, and one of them is Tottenham.

QSI are the owners of defending Ligue 1 champions PSG.

PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi met with Tottenham chairman Levy earlier this week to discuss the matter.

Jacobs has said that QSI have held no such talks with Liverpool owners FSG.

Exciting for Spurs fans

In our view, QSI potentially investing in Tottenham Hotspur is great news for the fans.

Tottenham are a big and ambitious club, but they are not financially powerful enough to compete with the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City.

PSG are a wealthy club and QSI are massive, and even a minor investment from them in Spurs would be great for the Premier League outfit.

Tottenham have arguably the best football stadium in the world, and while they have some brilliant players, such as Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris, and an elite manager in Antonio Conte, they need better footballers.
