Tottenham Hotspur assistant manager Cristian Stellini has told Football.London that Yves Bissouma is available to play against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the North London derby next weekend.

Arsenal will take on Tottenham at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League next weekend.

Stellini has said that Bissouma will be fit to face Arsenal, who reportedly wanted to sign the 26-year-old Mali international midfielder before he made the move to North London rivals Tottenham.

As reported by Sky Sports, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta wanted to sign Bissouma from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer of 2022.

Aston Villa and Everton were also keen on the midfielder.

However, it was Tottenham who secured the services of Bissouma for £25 million, according to Sky Sports.

Bissouma was due to start for Tottenham against Portsmouth at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.

However, the midfielder had to drop out of the team due to a knock he sustained in the warm-up.

Bissouma, though, will be available for Tottenham for the North London derby against Arsenal at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next weekend, according to Stellini.
