In some interesting Arsenal transfer news, Mykhailo Mudryk is already talking to an Gunners player about a potential move to North London.
That is according to journalist Ben Jacobs, speaking about the club’s pursuit of the Shakhtar Donetsk attacker.
Arsenal are heavily linked with signing the 21-year-old and have already had one offer knocked back.
Last week, Mudryk dropped a massive hint about wanting a transfer to the Emirates Stadium by posting an Instagram story about watching Mikel Arteta’s side, for the second or third game in succession.
And it would appear as if he is already talking to Oleksandr Zinchenko about a stint at Arsenal, according to Jacobs.
He told Football Transfers: “They know that Mudryk wants Arsenal. There’s a FreeMudryk hashtag going around that Mudryk’s been liking. He’s been watching the Arsenal games. He’s been speaking to Zinchenko, he’s been dropping hints left, right and centre that he wants Arsenal.”

In the same interview, Jacobs revealed that privately, Shakhtar would accept around £70 million for their jewel [FT].
Of course, Mudryk and Zinchenko are both Ukraine internationals and no doubt that the presence of the former Manchester City left-back will appeal to the young sensation.
This would be a stunning winter deal for Arsenal, should they pull it off.
It does look like they might have to stump up the £70 million needed, but the strong theory that Mudryk is gagging for the move can only help their pursuit.
