The total fee needed to get a deal done is a problem for Arsenal, according to The Express.
Former La Liga champions Atletico want a loan fee of £13 million.
Felix is also on a weekly salary of £250,000.
So, according to the report, Arsenal have told super-agent Mendes to try to negotiate with Atletico and lower down the price.

In our opinion, Arsenal may not be able to sign Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid if they are reluctant to meet the Spanish club’s demands.
Yes, the youngster’s salary is huge, but the Gunners will be signing him only on a loan deal with no obligation to make it permanent at the end of the season.
And a lot fee of £13 million is not really that high.
Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, and the Gunners need to do such sort of deals to give it a push.
