Netflix has released its new crime series Kaleidoscope and it is currently the most popular show on the streaming site. But who is in?
Kaleidoscope, created by Eric Garcia, is an eight-episode crime saga with a story spanning 25 years. It follows a crew of criminals as they attempt to steal billions worth of bonds from a safe in New York City.
Gracia has put together an incredible cast with hugely talented actors with the likes of Giancarlo Esposito, Rufus Sewell, and Paz Vega all part of the line-up.
However, fans are asking if actress Ashley park is one of the names on the hugely talented cast list. If you haven’t seen it yet keep reading to find out if she is.

The short answer is no, the American actress, dancer, and singer is not in Netflix’s new crime series Kaleidoscope.
The series boasts some impressive talent including Giancarlo Esposito as Leo Pap, Paz Vega as Ava Mercer, Rosaline Elbay as Judy Goodwin, Jai Courtney as Bob Goodwin, Tati Gabrielle as Hannah Kim, and Peter Mark Kendall as Stan Loomis.
The supporting cast includes Jordan Mendoza, Rufus Sewell, Soojeong Son, Hemky Madera, Niousha Noo, and Bubba Weile.
But sadly Ashley Park is not on the list, which begs the question: why do people think she is in the new series?

It would seem there is a case of mistaken identity. Fans believed Ashley Park was in Kaleidoscope after seeing another actress in the series that looks remarkably similar to Park. The actress they have mistaken Ashley Park for is Soojeong Son.
Son plays the recurring role of Liz Kim. Liz is the younger sister of Tati Gabrielle’s Hannah. Liz is the more free-spirited of the sisters.
Who is Kaleidoscope’s, Soojeong Son?
The American-born Korea-based actress was born in 1997, in Brooklyn, New York. The actress, comedian, and writer attended Cornell University graduating with a B.S. (Bachelor of Science) in Public Policy.
Soojeong studied and started working as an actor and improviser at different theatres, including Stella Adler Studio, T. Schreiber, The PIT, and The Annoyance Theater.
Before her appearance in Kaleidoscope, Son has landed roles on shows like Servant, Succession, and Stuff for Women, as well as a list of movies that includes The Outside Story, Submission, and Two Little Bitches.
What else can you catch the real Ashley Park in?
Ashley Park is an American actress, dancer, and singer. Most of her work is in the theatre where she has appeared in a number of different shows on the stage like Mamm Mia, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Mean Girls to name a few.
However, her most notable role is that of Mindy Chen, in Netflix’s Emily in Paris. Park stars opposite Lilly Collins, as the titular character of the show. The series premiered on October 2, 2020, and was renewed for a second season on November 11, 2020.
In the show Park gets to show off her singing talent as her character covers “La Vie en Rose” in the first season of Emily in Paris. This rendition was the number-one downloaded TV song for that week.
