According to the Portuguese outlet, Record, Tottenham Hotspur have approached Sporting about the idea of taking both Pedro Porro and Marcus Edwards off their hands in a double deal this month.
Spurs have been strongly linked with Porro as of late, but the Portuguese club are holding firm on their €40m (£35m) valuation of the player.
Tottenham now want to sign both Porro and Edwards, but they have been told that it would take €75m (£66m) to do such a deal.
That may seem rather cheap considering that Porro himself is valued at £35m, but this report does state that Sporting would sell Edwards to Spurs for half of his market value due to the fact that the north London club still hold a hefty sell-on clause that entitles them to fifty per cent of any future fee he is sold for.

These two signings could totally revamp Spurs’ squad.
Indeed, Tottenham need reinforcement at right-wing-back, and that’s exactly what Porro would provide, while they also need more depth and flair in the attack – and that’s where Edwards comes in.
Factor in the age profile of both of these players, and you have the potential for two of the most exciting signings possible for Spurs right now.
Tottenham need some momentum heading into the second-half of the season after a dour end to 2022, but these two new additions could spark a new life into a squad that has been playing at a lacklustre standard for too long now.
Of course, Tottenham Hotspur are no strangers to a January double deal. This time last year they were concluding two transfers from Juventus as they signed both Dejan Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur from the Turin-based club.
It remains to be seen if Spurs cough up the cash to get these deals over the line, but it certainly seems possible.
