Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano has reported that Ruslan Malinovskyi would love to join Tottenham Hotspur.
Tuttomercatoweb stated that both Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici believe Malinovskyi would be the “perfect” addition.
Italian outlet Corriere di Bergoma had even gone as far as to say that Tottenham had launched a £13 million bid to sign the Atalanta midfielder.
All signs seemingly point to Tottenham being huge admirers of Malinovskyi.
One can understand exactly why, as the 29-year-old is in the top 11% of attacking midfielders and wingers in the top 5 leagues in Europe for expected assisted goals (xAG) over the past 365 days, as per FBRef.
And a move could well be on the cards.
Fabrizio Romano says Ruslan Malinovskyi is keen on Tottenham transfer

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Ruslan Malinovskyi is extremely open to putting pen to paper for Tottenham Hotspur.
“I’m told the player [Ruslan Malinovskyi] would love to join Tottenham.”
“The player dreams of the Premier League in general and Tottenham would be a big dream for him.”
“But at the moment, it depends on Atalanta. Atalanta want at least £13-£15 million for Malinovskyi. They are not accepting a loan, so let’s see if Tottenham will decide to act or not”, he said on the Last Word On Spurs YouTube channel.
Spurs should try to make Malinovskyi move happen in January
Considering Tottenham must be aware of the update delivered by Fabrizio Romano, they should try to ensure Ruslan Malinovskyi signs on the dotted line in January.
The fee mentioned by Romano is reasonable for a club of Spurs’ stature, and they are in desperate need of a creative midfielder.
With all the burden of chance creation solely shouldered by their exciting front three and Rodrigo Bentancur, Malinovskyi, described as “exceptional” by Gian Piero Gasperini would prove to be a welcome addition in January.
