Celtic youngster Rocco Vata was reportedly scouted last night by the likes of Bayern Munich and Juventus as the 17-year-old made his official senior debut for the Hoops against Hibernian.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, numerous scouts from some of Europe’s biggest clubs were in attendance at Easter Road to watch the attacker come off the bench in the final minutes of the match as Celtic cruised to a 4-0 win against their Edinburgh rivals.

Glasgow born with Albanian and Irish heritage, the Republic of Ireland youth international is regarded by many as one of Celtic’s most exciting youth products, with Vata being watched last night by AC Milan, AS Roma, Atletico Madrid, Bayern, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus.

As per the report, the Old Lady and reigning Serie A champions already hold a transfer interest in Vata, who could soon feature more for Celtic’s first team having already been scouted by some of football’s biggest and most prestigious clubs.

Indeed, Scotland has recently been viewed by some European clubs, particularly ones in Italy, as a source for players with untapped potential, with this summer seeing Josh Doig and Lewis Ferguson make the move to Hellas Verona and Bologna respectively.

And Vata could well be the next name to make the leap from Scotland to Europe, especially with some big clubs such as Bayern and Juventus already scouting the youngster on his Celtic debut, and the Hoops could struggle to keep hold of the attacker.

Celtic’s academy is one of the best in the United Kingdom, with the Hoops producing some sensational talents who have gone on to become some of the best players in world football, and Vata is seemingly on the path to joining the already incredible list with Bayern and European’s elite scouting the teenager.

And for Celtic themselves, this could cause some trouble as the attacker is a player who could soon become a regular in the senior squad with the right coaching and development plan, though one of Europe’s top sides could soon make an offer to sign the forward.
