Arsenal will reportedly make a second bid to sign Mykhaylo Mudryk be led by incentives after the Gunners’ first offer for the 21-year-old winger was rejected by Shakhtar Donetsk.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal will return with a new bid to sign Mudryk as the north London side look to strike a deal with the Ukrainian giants for the superstar attacker, with Shakhtar valuing their prized forward at £80m following a sensational season.
The youngster has been one of the stars of the UEFA Champions League as Shakhtar only just missed out on qualifying out of their group ahead of RB Leipzig, with Mudryk’s form now putting the winger firmly in the shop window for some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
However, it is Premier League leaders Arsenal that are leading the chase for the attacker, with Mikel Arteta keen to add a wide-forward to his ranks as the north London side look to bring in quality in the January transfer window to compete with Manchester City for the title.

Indeed, the fact an opening bid was even made at all is a good sign that Arsenal are serious about signing Mudryk. And this latest report suggests that the Gunners won’t be so easily tempted to match Shaktar’s £80m asking price for the winger, a fee that would be a club-record signing for the north London giants.
With Arsenal also in the market for a central midfielder, Arteta can’t afford to overpay for Mudryk next month given just how important adding to the squad will be in January, with the Gunners now playing a risky game with Shakhtar.
Arsenal have to make second bid for Mudryk perfect

Arsenal haven’t exactly always been the best of negotiators when it comes to certain deals, which is why their second bid to sign Mudryk simply has to be perfect, with time something the Gunners can’t afford to waste over the 21-year-old winger.
As we know, the Gunners are a club who like to take transfers like this all the way to the wire. Yet in this case, Arsenal simply can’t wait around until deadline day to complete the signing of Mudryk, which is what makes this upcoming second bid so important.
