Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has suggested that the Gunners will not sell Gabriel Martinelli amid reported interest from Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, as quoted on the club’s official website.
Arteta has said that there is no news in regard to Gabriel Martinelli potentially signing a new contract with Arsenal.
The Arsenal boss has said that everyone at the club is very happy with the 21-year-old, who played for Brazil at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
French outlet Media Foot have reported that defending Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are keen on signing Martinelli.
PSG forward Neymar reportedly wants his Brazil international teammate at the French club.
SPORT have reported interest in Martinelli from former La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners Barcelona, while The Daily Mail claimed in October that Chelsea are keeping tabs on the 21-year-old Arsenal forward.

The Daily Mail reported this week that Martinelli is close to putting pen to paper on a new contract that will see his salary increase from £70,000 per week to £200,000 per week.
Mikel Arteta on Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli
Arteta said when asked about a new contract for Martinelli: “No news. We’re extremely happy with him, and he had a great experience with the Brazilian national team. You can keep asking in the next few weeks!”
Gunners stay
In our opinion, Arsenal are simply not going to sell Gabriel Martinelli anytime soon.
Arsenal are a club on the up who could win the Premier League title this season.
The Gunners are a rich club and a global brand, and they will not want to sell any of their prized assets, and that includes Martinelli, who is one of the best young forwards on the planet.
