Spanish outlet Mucho Deporte claim that Sevilla are looking to sign two Tottenham players in the January transfer window, in the form of Bryan Gil and Pape Matar Sarr – with the latter valued at a bargain £13million by Fabio Paratici.
Sarr, 20, is at Tottenham after joining the club from French side Metz in the summer of 2021. He was immediately loaned back to Metz for the 2021-22 campaign, and finished with 59 senior appearances at the French club.
But Sarr is yet to make his senior debut at Spurs having been available for the first half of the season. He did play twice for the club’s U21 side, before travelling to Qatar as part of Aliou Cisse’s Senegal side. Now, he is back at Tottenham.
Sevilla are said to be ‘considering’ Sarr with Spurs valuing him at just £13million. It might be that Jorge Sampaoli’s side pursue a permanent move for him. Another on their radar is Gil, the club Tottenham bought Gil from back in 2021.
Spurs paid around £21.6million plus Erik Lamela to sign Gil from Sevilla. Now, the Spanish side – Gil’s boyhood club – are considering a move to land Gil in January. The attacker is much more likely to be a loan back to his home country.

Sevilla looking to sign two Tottenham players Gil and Sarr
Sarr has very little chance of making it at Tottenham. He needs to join a club where he can continue his impressive rise, but a team where he is playing regularly. Sevilla might give him that opportunity, but Tottenham certainly will not.
Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur, Oliver Skipp and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg all remain at Spurs. So, as fifth-choice midfielder, he needs to go. Gil though, is slightly further along. He has been getting the odd go from Antonio Conte.
You get the feeling that after a decent couple of cameo roles, he might just be starting to convince Tottenham’s boss. Sending Sarr to Sevilla for £13million and allowing Gil to go on loan suits the players, Sevilla, and arguably Spurs.
