Liverpool are reportedly more likely to sign rumoured Tottenham target Sofyan Amrabat in January than long-term targets Jude Bellingham or Enzo Fernandez.
According to TeamTalk, the Morocco international and 2022 FIFA World Cup superstar is the most likely player Liverpool will move for in January given the midfielder’s price tag compared to Bellingham and Fernandez, with Amrabat one of the best players out in Qatar this winter.
La Repubblica recently reported that Amrabat could be available in January for around €50m (£44m), with the report also stating that Tottenham are interested in the ACF Fiorentina superstar, with Liverpool now also in the race for the midfielder.
A star for Morocco at the World Cup, Amrabat has been widely praised as one of the best midfielders out in Qatar with the Serie A dynamo now expected to earn a big-money move to an elite club in January, with Liverpool seemingly keen on jumping to the front of the queue.

Whilst recent reports have linked Liverpool to world champion Fernandez, Amrabat could be a cheaper and more safe option in January for Jurgen Klopp’s side, with Liverpool in desperate need of an extra midfield in the January window.
Indeed, Bellingham is also a player that the Anfield giants have been heavily linked with in recent months. But, with Borussia Dortmund holding out until the summer and placing a £130m price-tag on the England international, Liverpool’s interest in Amrabat is once again justified.
Liverpool could regret signing Amrabat in Janaury

World Cup hype is a powerful tool for clubs in getting huge transfer fees for players a few weeks ago most of the footballing world had hardly known about, and Liverpool could risk falling into this trap with Amrabat in January.
Whilst there’s no denying that Amrabat is a good player who impressed massively out in Qatar, there’s no telling how good the midfielder will be in the Premier League for a club as big as Liverpool, with the leap from Fiorentina to Merseyside a massive one for any player.
