Tottenham Hotspur big admirers of World Cup player, Chelsea lead race

Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United want to sign Youssoufa Moukoko, but it is Graham Potter’s Chelsea who are leading the race for the Borussia Dortmund and Germany international striker, according to CBS Sports journalist Ben Jacobs on Twitter.

The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported that Chelsea are leading the race for Moukoko, who is out of contract at German club Dortmund at the end of the season.

Tottenham and Liverpool are big admirers of the 18-year-old striker, who played for Germany at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

Manchester United are interested in the teenager as well, and the Red Devils could make a bid for him in the January transfer window depending what the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham do.

The striker has scored six goals and given three assists in those matches.

The Germany international has made two starts and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Champions League so far this campaign.

Moukoko has given one assist in those Ames.

The teenager also made one substitute appearance for Germany at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
