Newcastle United want Sofyan Amrabat with the Magpies now joining Liverpool in the race to sign the Fiorentina midfielder.
That’s according to a report from the Daily Mail, as they claim that the race for Amrabat is really hotting up.
Liverpool are of course mentioned having been linked with Amrabat for a while now, but a few new clubs are mentioned.
Chelsea, Newcastle United and West Ham United are all thought to be interested in signing Amrabat too.
Fiorentina can expect plenty of calls about Amrabat and it looks like the interest is only building after a stunning World Cup campaign.
Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who has been speaking to Soccer News in the Netherlands, suggested on Thursday that Amrabat’s agency want to get him to Liverpool
La Repubblica reported that Spurs are set to open talks for the Moroccan international in the hope of securing a huge deal worth around €50million (£43.5million).
That’s huge cash for Amrabat and it now looks a couple of big spenders in Chelsea and Newcastle are joining the race.

Fiorentina ace Amrabat has earned huge praise during his time at the World Cup – and a move to Newcastle would seemingly delight Alan Shearer.
The Magpies legend spoke to BBC Sport on Wednesday night and he raved about Amrabat.
Shearer called Amrabat ‘absolutely magnificent’, hailing the defensive protection he was giving to the Morocco team.
Shearer even suggested that Amrabat is a ‘spoiler’, claiming that he is ‘excellent’ at ruining the attackers of opposing teams.
Newcastle now seemingly want to sign Amrabat and you can absolutely imagine him taking on that same role in Eddie Howe’s team.
That would allow the likes of Joe Willock, Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes to go forward with Amrabat sweeping up behind them.
That’s an exciting idea but whether Newcastle are willing to pay big money for Amrabat off the back of one great tournament remains to be seen.
