Kaka has hailed former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric and how the Real Madrid and Croatia star is ‘really special’ when he is on the ball.
The Brazil legend added that it was a ‘privilege’ to play alongside the 37-year-old and it’s ‘amazing’ to see what he has been doing in his career.
Back in 2012, Spurs sold Modric for £30 million (BBC Sport) to Real Madrid when he was seen as one of the top midfielders in the Premier League.

But, one thing is for sure, he wasn’t anywhere near the level he has reached during the last decade because he has been out of the world.
From winning the Ballon d’Or to having five Champions League medals, it has been a career of legendary status from the playmaker and Kaka was in awe of it, as he told beIN SPORTS (13/12/22 at 6:20 pm).
“I had the privilege to play with Luka for three years in Madrid,” said Kaka. “It’s really nice to see the way that he plays. It seems like he is just dancing on the field. It’s enjoyable when you see a player like him, controlling the game, passing and doing something really special that it’s just unique.
“Of course, he is a leader of this team (Croatia). He’s been the man of Croatia since 2018. It’s amazing what he has been doing at Real Madrid and with Croatia.”

MODRIC TO BOW OUT AT THE WORLD CUP
For one final time, Modric is going to bow out of the World Cup stage when Croatia play Morocco in the third-place play-off on Saturday.
After reaching the World Cup final in 2018, it was semi-final heartache this time around for Modric and Co.
Whilst football’s ultimate prize didn’t land on Modric’s doorstep, it shouldn’t hide the quite incredible career he has had and he’s still going strong, which could include winning European Cup medal number six this season.
