As per a report by Media Foot, Chelsea are willing to sell both Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga to sign Leeds goalkeeper Illan Meslier.
Journalist Simon Phillips has mentioned (via The Express) that the Blues are tracking the Frenchman, who is classed as one of the best young shotstoppers in Europe.
Furthermore, it has been claimed that those at Stamford Bride believe that the 22-year-old would make for a quality addition to the side.
Both Kepa and Mendy cannot claim to have cemented their places as Graham Potter’s ideal No.1.
While the former is preferred by Potter, a few satisfactory displays are not enough to wipe out his largely underwhelming career at Chelsea.
As for Mendy, his form has fallen off a cliff since last season, as he even looked far from his best for Senegal at the World Cup.
Keeping that in mind, it does not come as the biggest surprise that Todd Boehly is willing to see both leave the club just for a fresh face to come in.
