Inter Milan reportedly have a meeting scheduled with Marcus Thuram’s representatives, with Newcastle United and Tottenham also interested in signing the France international.
According to CalcioMercato, the Nerazzurri are preparing a contract offer for the Borussia Monchengladbach superstar as Inter look to beat a host of top European clubs to Thuram’s signature in January, with the attacker expected to leave Germany at a bargain price.
With an impressive 13 goals in all competitions this season, Thuram has been one of Europe’s most prolific forwards this campaign, and the 25-year-old’s form has not gone unnoticed, with 90min claiming that Newcastle and Tottenham are just two of numerous Premier League sides interested in signing the versatile attacker.
However, Inter now look like the early favourites to sign Thuram in the winter market, with the Milan side making strides in the right direction to bringing the Gladbach star to the San Siro, much to the dismay of both Newcastle and Tottenham.

Indeed, this scheduled meeting with Thuram’s entourage could give Inter the boost the Serie A giants need to sign the Frenchman in the January window. But, there’s still every chance a Premier League side could win the race to sign the forward given the pull the division has on some players.
Whilst it would take some pull from Newcastle or Tottenham to lure Thuram away from Inter, a big contract offer could be what changes the attacker’s mind in January, with both English sides no doubt still feeling confident in their pursuit of the forward.
Inter Milan could find it hard to sign Thuram

Inter’s pull is one of the biggest in Europe, with the Italian club one of the giants of the European game and a team that many top players dream of one day representing. However, the race for Thuram could see the San Siro side miss out on the France international to the likes of Newcastle and Tottenham.
As mentioned, the Premier League could be too big an attraction for Thuram, and whilst the winger would be a regular for Inter should the 25-year-old decide to move to Lombardy, playing in England could be a more appealing option with a Newcastle or Tottenham for the 13-goal superstar.
