Arsenal and Liverpool want Yunus Musah and the Valencia midfielder is now allegedly ready to try something new after nearly four years in Spain.

The Athletic claim that Musah now feels ready to go and try something new – which will give those chasing him a real boost.

Valencia seemingly feel a similar way.

It’s suggested that Valencia are open to offers and actually hope that Musah’s World Cup displays for the United States help create a market for his exit.

Offers north of €20million (£17million) will allegedly be considered with Valencia’s financial position meaning they would like to sell.

Musah is still under contract until 2026, so that fee seems pretty decent value – and the Premier League seems to be a likely destination.

Musah’s desire may boost Liverpool more than Arsenal

90Min claimed last week that Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are all interested in signing Musah.

FC Inter News even claim that Arsenal have already had one bid rejected for Musah with Inter Milan also keen.

Musah has already spent seven years in the Arsenal ranks, joining in 2012 before leaving for Valencia in 2019.

If Musah wants a new experience, returning to Arsenal doesn’t really fit the bill.

Musah has already experienced life in North London and in the Arsenal ranks before taking the decision to join Valencia.

The chance to join Liverpool and play under Jurgen Klopp could be hugely attractive, especially with their high intensity style of play.

Musah is only 20 and is far from the finished product.

His all-action displays at the World Cup have attracted praise though and he was hailed as ‘spectacular’ for his performance for USA against England.

Whoever signs Musah must believe that they can develop him into a star and selling him on that dream will now be vital as he chases the next step in his career.
