Aston Villa and Argentina international goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez could be tempted to leave Villa Park in the summer of 2023, according to GiveMeSport.

The report has claimed that the former Arsenal goalkeeper has ‘plenty of clubs’ interested in signing him and are monitoring his situation at Villa.

The 30-year-old could be tempted to move on in the summer of 2023, according to the report.

Could Emiliano Martinez leave Aston Villa next summer?

In our opinion, Aston Villa could have to sell Emiliano Martinez in the summer of 2023, especially if he wins the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina.

Martinez has been superb for the Villans since his move from Premier League rivals Arsenal in a £20 million (The Guardian) deal in the summer of 2020.

The 30-year-old has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

Martinez won the Copa America with Argentina in 2021 and now he could win the World Cup.

We think that the goalkeeper could be tempted to move to a club who compete for major honours and also play in the UEFA Champions League.

Martinez is under contract at Villa until 2027.

That means that the Villans do not have to sell him next summer, and even if they do decide to cash in on him, they will be able to ask for a lot in transfer fees.
