Liverpool want Sofyan Amrabat but his brother is instead backing him to make a huge move to Paris Saint-Germain in the near future.
Liverpool need midfielders – plural.
The Reds can’t put all of their eggs in the Jude Bellingham basket and expect him to fix everything in their engine room.
Another anchor man to compete with Fabinho would be ideal given his patchy form so far this season.
A top target appears to be Fiorentina star Amrabat with Julian Ward allegedly very keen on bringing him to Anfield.
Amrabat has been the heartbeat of Morocco’s midfield during their stunning run to the World Cup semi-finals and he could earn a huge move in 2023.

Liverpool target Sofyan Amrabat backed for PSG move
Liverpool would seemingly love to secure a deal but Fiorentina are trying to stand firm.
Any deal will cost over £25million and you can imagine that their asking price is just going up and up off the back of his World Cup displays.
Liverpool may well attempt to sign Amrabat in January but his brother seemingly has other ideas in mind.
Nordin Amrabat – formerly of Watford – has been speaking to L’Equipe about his brother’s remarkable World Cup performances.
Nordin has suggested that Sofyan would be the perfect signing for Paris Saint-Germain.
He suggested that a midfield combination of Amrabat and Verratti would be something special and urged Nasser Al-Khelaifi to make it happen.
“For me, it would be very suitable for Paris Saint-Germain. Imagine an association with Marco Verratti, pfff,” said Amrabat. “So Nasser Al-Khelaifi, if you read my words, take my brother!”
PSG did though bring in a host of midfielders over the summer as Renato Sanches, Carlos Soler, Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha all arrived.
It seems a little unlikely that PSG will now move to bring in Amrabat even if he is a more defensive option than those four.
Liverpool surely have a great chance of signing Amrabat but they will still hope that PSG don’t pay attention to Nordin’s pleas.
