Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has raved about Ben Doak, who joined from Celtic, on the club’s official website.
Doak moved to Liverpool from Scottish Premiership giant Celtic in the summer of 2022 and signed his first professional contract with the former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners in November 2022.
The 17-year-old, who can operate as a full-back or as a winger, is part of the Liverpool squad in Dubai at the moment.
The former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners are preparing for the second half of the season in Dubai and will play in the Dubai Super Cup.
Doak has made one competitive appearance in the Carabao Cup for the Reds so far this season.
The teenager came on as a substitute against Derby County and was on the bench against Southampton in the Premier League.
Jurgen Klopp on Liverpool’s Ben Doak
Klopp said: “Ben Doak looks really promising, now he’s here with us.”

Exciting
In our opinion, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp’s comments on Ben Doak are very exciting for the teenager and for the fans.
They show how good the Scotland Under-21 international is and what he can achieve.
The teenager made two appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic, and he was not even 17 then.
