Who composed the score?
As well as a host of original songs created for the film, Pinocchio also features a charming and playful score that is the work of French composer Alexandre Desplat.
Born in Paris, the 61-year-old composer has been creating music for films and TV series since the mid-1980s and he has around 200 credits to his name.
A two-time Oscar winner, Desplat won his Academy Awards for the films The Grand Budapest Hotel and The Shape Of Water, where he also collaborated with Guillermo del Toro.
Other notable films that Alexandre Desplat has worked on include The Midnight Sky, Little Women, The Secret Life Of Pets, The Danish Girl, Zero Dark Thirty, Argo as well as Parts 1 and 2 of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows.
The composer is also a frequent collaborator with Wes Anderson and aside from scoring The Grand Budapest Hotel, he also created the music for The French Dispatch, Isle Of Dogs, Moonrise Kingdom and Fantastic Mr Fox.
