PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has hinted that he could soon make a move for reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham, with the Ligue 1 official claiming that everyone wants to sign the England international.
Speaking to Sky News, Al-Khelaifi lauded the Borussia Dortmund superstar as the PSG president hailed Bellingham as one of the best players of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and hinted that the French giants could move for the 19-year-old midfielder in the future.
Bellingham has seen his already exceptional stock rise even more this winter following the teenager’s incredible performances for England out in Qatar. And as a result, transfer interest is starting to run rampant over the Dortmund superstar.
Yet despite the chaos on the back sheets and rumour columns, Liverpool still look like one of the favourites to sign Bellingham, even with the PSG president coming out this week and expressing his fondness for the England international.

Indeed, with a reported asking price of €150m (£130m) according to Sport, Bellingham is set to become one of the most expensive players ever next summer. And for Al-Khelaifi, the PSG president hinted that the French side could move for the youngster.
Al-Khelaifi said: “What a player. Honestly, England are lucky to have him, and he’s one of the best players in the tournament. Everyone wants him. I’m not going to hide it. But I respect he’s in his club and, respect if we want to talk to him, we talk to the club first.”
Liverpool can’t allow Bellingham to end up at PSG

It would be an understatement to say that Bellingham signing for PSG would be something of a disappointment, with the England international clearly at a level where he can be competing in the Premier League amongst some of the best players the world has to offer.
And as a result, Liverpool must be doing all they can to ensure that Bellingham doesn’t end up moving to France, with the midfielder ready to return to England to the Premier League and to test himself against some of the best teams and players in Europe, something the youngster won’t get to experience with PSG.
