Hector Bellerin is reportedly wanted by Premier League clubs ahead of the January transfer window just months after the defender left Arsenal to sign for FC Barcelona.
According to Relevo, the Blaugrana are open to selling Bellerin in next month with the right-back’s Barcelona contract due to expire in the summer, with the report stating that the La Liga side’s financial issues mean a sale in January will be most beneficial for the club.
And a return to the Premier League could be on the cards for Bellerin, with Relevo stating that numerous top-flight English sides are interested in the 27-year-old fullback alongside AS Roma, with Jose Mourinho’s side seemingly the favourites to land the former Arsenal star in January.
Bellerin ended a ten-year stay in north London this summer as the defender and Arsenal mutually agreed to terminate his contract in order to facilitate a move to Barcelona. However, the move has not gone quite to plan for the Catalan-born star.

The defender has made just five appearances in all competitions for Barcelona this season. And as a result, Xavi Hernandez is open to selling Bellerin already in the January window. Though thankfully for the Catalan side, interest already seems to be high in the former Premier League star.
Indeed, a return to the Premier League would be quite the outcome for Bellerin given how hard the defender worked alongside Arsenal to leave the north London club. And a comeback to England would be something very few supporters would have predicted following the defender’s move to Barcelona in the summer.
Arsenal will feel hard done by if Bellerin makes Premier League return

Arsenal have famously been one of the worst-selling clubs in all of Europe over the past few years, with the Gunners often resorting to offloading well-paid players for nothing or for a minuscule transfer fee. And Bellerin being sold by Barcelona to an English club will be a slap in the face for the Premier League leaders.
After all, Bellerin is the latest of a long-line of players Arsenal have let go for nothing in order to get their wages off the payroll. And Barcelona managing to get a transfer fee for the right-back in January will make the Gunners look silly yet again in the transfer market.
