Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in the January transfer window, according to CMW.

The report in the Italian news outlet has claimed that Liverpool boss Klopp has been a long-term admirer of Vlahovic and is willing to do anything to bring the Juventus striker to Anfield.

Darwin Nunez has not been in exactly great form for Liverpool this season following his move in the summer of 2022, which is one of the reasons why Klopp wants to sign the 22-year-old Serbia international striker who is at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

CMW have added that Liverpool could include France international centre-back Ibrahima Konate in a deal with Juventus for Vlahovic.

Could Liverpool sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus?

In our opinion, Liverpool are unlikely to be able to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in the January transfer window.

Juventus paid £66.6 million to Fiorentina for the striker in January 2022 (Sky Sports), and the former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners are not going to sell him for anything less.

You have to ask whether FSG would be willing to spend almost £70 million on a single player in the middle of the season when they are trying to sell the club.

Yes, Juve are having financial issues and problems at boardroom level, but they are very much in the race for the Serie A top four and will not want to lose a quality player like Vlahovic in the middle of the season.

The striker is not having the best of times at Juventus, but he has still scored six goals and given one assist in 10 Serie A matches so far this season.
