Arsenal want Rangers talent Jack Wylie but have now been joined in the race for his signature by Premier League rivals Manchester United.
The Daily Record reported in October that Arsenal were leading the race sign Wylie.
Scout Lee Herron had allegedly been to watch Wylie in action for Scotland’s Under-16’s and Arsenal were primed to make a move.
Now though, the Daily Star claim that Manchester United have joined the battle for Wylie’s signature.
It’s suggested that United have now watched Wylie on a number of occasions and have ‘upped their interest’ in the teenager.
Rangers are allegedly desperate to keep hold of Wylie but fear the 16-year-old is going to leave Ibrox for a move to England.

Deja vu for Rangers as Premier League clubs chase Wylie
This will feel all too familiar for Rangers.
The Gers lost Billy Gilmour back in 2017 as the diminutive midfielder decided to trade Ibrox for Stamford Bridge and Chelsea.
Gilmour was one of Rangers’ top prospects but he was lured away as a teenager with Chelsea seeing major potential in him.
Rangers will have felt a similar way earlier this year as top young striker Rory Wilson decided to leave the club.
Wilson had been banging in the goals at youth level and Rangers were haunted by their former boss as Steven Gerrard lured him to Aston Villa.
Rangers were only able to bring in £350,000 for Wilson and will likely feel that the teenage goalscorer is worth much more.
Now Rangers face a similar battle surrounding Wylie with Arsenal and Manchester United now ready to offer big moves to England.
Wylie will soon have to work out what is best for his future – stay at Rangers and push towards the first team or attempt to break in with one of England’s top clubs.
